We created this app to help people become more consistent, keep their word, improve their relationships with themselves and others, and stay accountable through Promise Profiles, Promise Tracking, and Promise Circles.

We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

• Account details – name, email, username, password.
• Promise information – every promise you create, including reminders, dates, notes, and reflections.
• Promise Profile data – your answers, behavioral patterns, and the profile generated from them.

B. Information We Collect Automatically

• Device type, operating system, app activity, usage patterns.
• Log data (IP, browser, timestamps) for security and diagnostics.
• Cookies and identifiers when using our marketing pages, pre-order pages, or checkout.

C. Information from Others (Optional)

• If you join Promise Circles, other users may see:
  
  • Your name or username
  • Your active promises
  • Your progress and streaks
  • Your profile photo (if uploaded)

You choose what you share in Circles.

We use your data to:

• Create and maintain your account
• Deliver personalized Promise Profiles
• Help you track and keep your promises
• Power Promise Circles, reminder systems, and accountability tools
• Process subscriptions, early-access packages, and invite codes
• Prevent fraud or misuse of the platform
• Improve product features and user experience
• Communicate updates, new features, or service-related messages

We never sell your personal information.

3. Sharing Your Information

We only share information with:

• Service providers (hosting, analytics, payments, email)
• Promise Circle members — but only what you choose to display
• Influencer Circles — if you join, your profile and activity may be visible in that group
• Legal authorities — only when required by law

We do not share your promises with advertisers or third-party marketers.

4. Data Security

We use encryption, access controls, and modern security protocols.

No system is perfect, but we are committed to maintaining industry-standard protections.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• View your data
• Correct your data
• Request deletion
• Export your data
• Opt out of marketing messages

6. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active.

If you delete your account, most data is removed within 30 days except where required by law.

7. Children’s Privacy

The app is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy as we grow. If something meaningful changes, we’ll notify you via email or in-app.
